Bethlehem Elementary School fifth-grade students had the opportunity to take on a pretty awesome challenge — creating their own mini golf holes in the LMC for their younger peers.

Working in teams, each fifth-grade group came up with its own theme, making sure their design would be fun and appropriate for younger students. Throughout the project, students followed the Engineering Design Process with LMC Specialist Ericca Johnson as they planned, built, tested, and problem-solved using recycled materials. The K-2 students played each golf hole and voted for their favorite design. The younger students had a terrific time! And wow - such creativity and hard work from the 5th graders on these library projects.
