Rhyme. Rhythm. Repetition. Fifth graders at Bethlehem Elementary School love poetry so much that they've decided to create their own book of poems.

Connor Strickland's fifth-grade class is creating the BES Poetry Anthology and has asked all students to contribute a short poem to the project. Once they've received submissions from their peers, these 5th graders will put a bound book together with all the rhyme schemes, language structures, and word choices to share with the BES community.

What a terrific creative tool and school-wide commitment to literacy.
