BES Art Projects in the Style of Famous Works
This month in art with teacher Ms. Riggi, Bethlehem Elementary School fifth graders created fall-inspired color and light masterpieces in the style of “Starry Night” by Vincent VanGogh. Students learned about the different elements in the piece including space, line, texture, and value.
They created a starry background using a palette of orange, green, blue, and white, and yellow paint on blue paper. To finish, students cut out and glued on painted pumpkins in the foreground to create these terrific pieces.
