It's Read Across America Week in Region 14 Schools, and on March 3, Bethlehem Elementary School kicked off the "One School, One Read" with a special unveiling of the book all students will read this month -- "Clementine" by Sara Pennypacker.

Caitlin Jurkowski, BES Literacy Instructional Leader, led the countdown to unveil the book, and students were excited to hear the first chapter.

All BES students received a copy of the book, courtesy of the BES PTO, plus a clementine as a little nourishment to start their reading journey this month. Read Across America Week activities include theme days, special activities, and Mystery Readers.
