BES TAG Students Create STEM Mazes and Parachutes From Everyday Items
Bethlehem Elementary School TAG students were busy putting the final touches on two unique STEM-related projects in December.
They designed and engineered incredible mazes made out of recycled cardboard. Students tested all the marble mazes to explore problem-solving and spatial awareness and to see what worked and what needed adjustments. TAG students at BES also had some fun creating ideas for a parachute to ensure Santa Claus lands safely.
They engineered these parachutes from coffee filters and other materials. Will they see their design at work for next year?
